THE ACADEMY

Jeon-sa Taekwondo, founded by Chief Instructor and Head Coach, Master Nick Brinklow 4th Dan, is one of the UK's leading martial
arts academies.

The club was established in 2004 with classes initially at Priestnall Recreation Centre, Stockport and Parrs Wood High School, Manchester. Jeon-sa Taekwondo opened its own full time venue in Stockport in January 2014.

Jeon-sa Taekwondo are members of the United Taekwondo
Association (UTA), headed by Grandmaster T.W Shin, 9th Dan and British Taekwondo (BT), the National Governing Body for World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) Olympic Taekwondo in Great Britain.

Jeon-sa (전사) pronounced 'Jun-sah', is the Korean word for 'Warrior'. At Jeon-sa Taekwondo we train to develop a strong body and mind and aim to instil an 'Unbreakable Warrior Spirit'.

We have hosted seminars with Olympic Champion Jade Jones, World Champion Bianca Walkden and World and European medallists Paul Green, Martin Stamper & Damon Sansum.

We hold regular gradings and attend competitions both in the UK
and abroad. We work closely with the GB Taekwondo Talent
Pathway and have produced Junior & Cadet Team GB athletes and international medallists.
